Amazing Reading Project

Hi everybody!!

Help me create our English Class Library!

We are going to participate in the 'Amazing Reading Project' this year.
We'll read short and adapted books only for pleasure, and you'll get a participation certificate.
We'll organize a DISCOVERY DAY, in which we'll prepare our personal lapbook.
But be careful!! only if you want to take part in a real Olympics Reading Game...you'll win a BOOK!

So let's choose the books together, then you'll read the ones you prefer. We will exchange them within us.
When you finish reading a book, just complete the following book list:

TOM SAWYER

Hi Students!

Do you like Comix??
Okay, let's create a comix in the group.

PROJECT:
Time: 24-28 Sept. 4 lessons
Task: Create a comix on Tom Sawyer's story (summary)
Aim: Students will be able to SUMMERIZE creatively a story from an adapted version of the novel

GROUPWORK
Procedure:

STEP 1: in the group choose the scene that in your opinion better the spot (maximum 7)
and assign each scene to each student

STEP 2: (EACH Student) Re-read the paragraph of the book and choose the elements you need: characters, what they say, scenery, etc. Share your idea with the group. (All scenes must be connected).

STEP 3: Create the scene online. Here below the link below:
